"This cemetery is not far from where I lived as a young man in the Gentilly district of New Orleans.  Great care had been taken to clean it and repair storm damage, but signs of Katrina’s effect could be seen.

     Since it is a Jewish cemetery I wanted to give it an old world look, the tombs and statue aided my effort.  The name Rebecca is one of my favorites; I started there, and then gathered the other tombs and statutes around it."              Rolland Golden
