     "My wife Stella and daughter Lucille spoke to this lady, videoing the conversation.  She lived in the By-Water section and stayed through the storm in her home.  I stopped the video tape (several times) to do 3 quick sketches of her, and then used one of the sketches to place her in front of the destroyed houses.

     She becomes a symbol for all the elderly who were trapped during the hurricane.  Alone, with nothing but her stained house coat, a handkerchief and her aged body: if she doesn’t receive help soon there is only one  possibility."              Rolland Golden
