    "I struggled for a title to this piece until I remembered the Arche de Triumphe in Paris; these arches and the situation, to me, expressed the antithesis of triumph.  The policeman I sketched from television, the buildings are in the Treme district near Claiborne Ave."     By Rolland Golden
